How to Clean A Bathtub
- Put on latex gloves and spray bathroom cleaner on wall above tub.
- Allow cleaner to sit for few minutes, then rinse or wipe it off with wiper or paper towel.
- With grout brush apply tile cleaner to grout and scrub thoroughly.
- Rinse well.
- Apply cleaner to tub.
- Allow to sit for 5 minutes, and scrub with scrub brush using gently pressure.
- Rinse well.
- Scrub away remaining soap scum with scrub brush or old toothbrush.
- Rinse again.
- Apply nonabrasive bathroom or bathtub cleaner if tub is acrylic.
- Gently scrub with soft bristled brush.
- Rinse tub well.
- Apply specialized fiberglass cleaner to tub.
- Scrub gently with sponge.
- Rinse well.

How to Clean A Toilet
- Open bathroom windows and door, or turn on the fan.
- Put on latex gloves and lift the toilet seat. Be sure to have all your cleaning supplies on hand.
- Flush the toilet to wet sides of bowl.
- Apply a generous amount of powder or liquid toilet bowl cleaner to the bowl, focusing on getting it along the sides and not just the water.
- Let cleaner stand for a minute.
- With your toilet brush, swab around interior of bowl, focusing area beneath rim and the water line.
- If ring is developed, scrub stain with wet pumice stone.
- Spray seat and underside of seat with disinfectant. Wipe with paper towel or wipers.
- Allow disinfectant to dry before using toilet.
- For an ongoing clean scent us a bowl deodorant!

Clean Fruit Juice Stain
- Apply carpet cleaner detergent solution (1 teaspoon colorless, mild detergent 1 cup water) and blot area with wiper.
- Apply ammonia solution (1 tablespoon ammonia 1/2 cup water) and blot the area.
- Apply vinegar solution (1/3 white vinegar 2/3 water) and blot area.
- Rinse with water and blot.
- Apply enzyme detergent (follow directions on label) and blot.
- Rinse with water and blot until dry.

Clean Blood Out of Clothes
- Keep the stain wet, rinse out under the tap in cold water.
- If stain on mattress, sponge out with water.
- If the stain is old soak in cool salt water for a long time (hours).
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Soak again in water and with some ammonia.
- Launder as above.
- If not coming out, may try soaking in an enzyme solution for a half an hour and launder.
- As last resort bleach if sheets are white.

Clean Computer Screens
- Check your owner's manual. If the manufacturer has specific instructions, follow them.
- Turn off the monitor so you can see the dirt better.
- Dampen a lint free cloth with ammonia or glass cleaner.
- Wipe from top down rubbing difficult areas.

Clean Deck or Patio Furniture
- Make sure seat cushions are all weather type that can get sprayed. Be sure to have all your cleaning supplies on hand.
- Mix dish soap, one ounce per gallon of water.
- Spray off with hose.
- If dirt does not go away, scrub with a brush after pre spraying.

Clean Wood Dresser
- Spray polish on dresser.
- Wipe off in circular motion with lint free cloth to polish dresser. You may also use paper towel for wiping.
- To prevent buildup, vacuum on a regular basis to remove dust.

- There are many different methods. Try using a window squeegee with a cloth or sponge.
- An easier method is with paper towels and glass cleaner.

Clean Glassware
- To reduce spotting, simply use a reduced temperature of dishwasher water.
- Use Cascade, Electrasol or OxiClean in dishwasher.
- Also let the dishes air, not heat dry.

Clean Refrigerators
- Refrigerators are coated with tuff hard enamel and are easy to clean. Be sure to have all your cleaning supplies on hand. For stubborn hard soil and droplets, wet the surface with all purpose cleaner or general purpose cleaner. Let sit a few minutes.
- Use a soft cloth or sponge to remove dissolved material. Repeat if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
- For the sticky top of the refrigerator spray on a diluted solution of dishwashing liquid.
- Allow to sit for a few minutes.
- Wipe area clean with a paper towel.
- To clean the racks remove them first.
- Mix up a solution of natural detergent in your sink and insert the racks. Allow them to soak for a few minutes, you'll use less elbow grease.
- Pull the cover off that protects the condensation coils.
- Use your vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment to remove all dust and dirt. A lot of dirt here can be a fire hazard and also cause your unit to work overly hard and use a lot of electricity.

Clean Oven Racks
- Find an area outside and cover with newspapers. Be sure to have all your cleaning supplies on hand.
- Place racks on newspaper.
- Spray with oven cleaner.
- Cover racks with newspaper.
- Using water, moisten top layer.
- Cover everything with plastic bags.
- Place rocks so the newspaper doesn't blow away.
- Let sit overnight.
- Hose off with water the next day

Clean Brick Surfaces
- With aggressiveness, attack the mold, mildew and lichens.
- Let as much air and sun reach the surface area as possible.
- Using a brush, remove the crusties.
- Use the sponge with the solution to kill the spores.
- Examine the area for white salt residue on brickwork.
- Again with the brush remove it, but no not use water, which can dissolve residue.
- Remove stains by rubbing area with a brick of the same color.

Clean Wallpaper
- For vinyl surfaces, use detergent and soft cloth.
- Be careful not to over-wet.
- For other surfaces, use a duster or vacuum.
